The Mindy Kaling’s (The Office, The Mindy Project) new HBO Max series The Sex Life Of Collge Girls casts Midori Francis (Dash & Lily), Gavin Leatherwood (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Christopher Meyer (Tell Me A Story), Ilia Isorelys Paulino (Queenpins), Lauren “Lolo” Spencer (Give Me Liberty) and Renika Williams (Modern Love), according to Deadline. The new announcement comes after the initial cast members Pauline Chalamet (The King Of Staten Island), Amrit Kaur (Star Trek: Short Treks), Renee Rapp (Mean Girls), and Alyah Chanelle Scott (Walk Off) who star in the series were reported.
Francis plays “Alicia”, Leatherwood plays ”Nico”, Meyer plays “Canaan”, Paulino plays ”Lila”, Spencer is “Jocelyn” and Williams is “Willow” according to Deadline. All of the previously announced characters will be students of the prestigious New England Essex College. The pilot episode was co-written by executive producers Kaling and showrunner Justin Noble along with Howard Klein (Late Night). Kaling International produces the series in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Francis’ breakout performance was her role in Universal’s Good Boys. She stars in the upcoming Netflix feature Afterlife of the Party opposite Victoria Justice. Francis will also star as a female lead on Netflix series Dash and Lily.
Leatherwood most recently starred as Nicholas Scratch in Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. He can also be seen in grown-ish as well as NCIS.
Meyer has had recurring roles on Tell Me A Story, Showtime’s The Affair, Freeform’s The Fosters, CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans, and Fox’s Wayward Pines. He was also featured in the Netflix feature All Day and a Night, opposite Jeffery Wright (Westworld) and Ashton Sanders (Wu-Tang: An American Saga).
Paulino just recently graduated from Yale drama school and wrapped up her first feature Queenpins with Kristen Bell (House Of Lies). Part of WB’s inaugural Actors In Training program, her first series role will be in The Sex Lives Of College Girls.
Nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award Spencer portrayed Tracy Holmes in the John Cassavetes award winning film Give Me Liberty. She also hosts her own Instagram TV talk show called The New Narrative. She interviews guests with disabilities who are creating a new narrative for the disability community.
Williams is featured in the upcoming season 2 of Amazon’s Modern Love opposite Dominique Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah). She starred in the Off Broadway productions including The People’s Light Theatre Company’s Mud Row, and The Climb at Cherry Lane Theaters. Williams also had a recurring role on the webseries Placeholders opposite Teyonah Parris (WandaVision) and Corey Hawkins (24: Legacy).
