ComicBook reports that the concluding season of Netflix’s Stranger Things is currently in production, with lead actress Millie Bobby Brown (Enola Holmes, Godzilla vs. Kong) offering fans an exclusive peek behind the scenes. On Instagram, Brown posted a video capturing a “quick coffee break on set.” While sipping her Florence by Mills Coffee, she divulged that she’s amidst a night shoot for Stranger Things, hinting at intense scenes where her character, Eleven, experiences a nosebleed.
Brown recently discussed the journey Eleven has been on
Recently, Brown shared her thoughts on the conclusion of her tenure with Stranger Things and Eleven’s narrative arc, expressing that bidding farewell to one of her most beloved roles will be challenging. “It’s gonna be hard,” she said.
“Well, I’m really emotional, and I do attach myself to characters,” Brown said as she gave the interview. “I got the Eleven tattoo, so I always feel like there’s gonna be a sense of her with me, and I’ll always go back to her for reference. Of course, I wanna grow as an actor and as a person, but of course, that’s always gonna be my home and my root to who I was and who I am.”
The upcoming final season of Stranger Things is expected to be larger than anything yet seen
Matt Duffer (Hidden, Wayward Pines), co-creator of Stranger Things, has described the final season as reminiscent of the first, but with Season Five being similar to Season One, but “on steroids.”
“This season – it’s like season one on steroids,” Duffer recently said to The Guardian via ComicBook concerning the show’s final season. “It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun, because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one. And, yes, there may be spin-offs, but the story of Eleven and Dustin and Lucas and Hopper, their stories are done here.”
In the upcoming final season, there will be fresh additions to the cast, including fan-favorite Linda Hamilton (The Terminator, Beauty and the Beast). Joining the ranks of the Netflix sensation, Hamilton humorously said to US Weekly via ComicBook that becoming part of the Duffer Bros. world has somewhat tarnished the allure of the series for her. While she jests about it, the backstage glimpse might demystify some of the magic surrounding a show like Stranger Things. Though Hamilton may have insights into her season’s happenings, she remains tight-lipped about any spoilers.
“I’ve watched every season with relish. I just love it … So, it’s kind of, like, imposter syndrome where I don’t [feel that I] fit in there. That’s a whole world set in the ’80s,” Hamilton said. “When you really buy into something, you don’t see yourself in it. So, I think in a way, it kind of ruined the show for me. I never watch [a project], once I’m in something … It would just completely take me out of the reality of it to see myself in there. So, I won’t be watching [Season 5].”
All four seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream right now on Netflix
