Mike Tyson is bringing his one-man show, An Undisputed Truth, to an even larger audience: the former boxer is teaming up with Spike Lee for a televised run of Truth on HBO.
Tyson’s show debuted in Las Vegas early last year. He spent ten weeks traveling around the country to perform An Undisputed Truth, including a stint on Broadway. Lee directed the autobiographical stage show and will bring it to the screen for HBO with a July performance in New York.
“I’m incredibly grateful to HBO for partnering with me and for believing in my story. It is an honor and a privilege to be working with them to bring my one-man show…to life on the television screen,” Tyson stated.
The special is expected to air later this year.
