The timing coincides with the upcoming NCIS spin-off, currently nicknamed NCIS: Europe, which will feature both Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David. According to Screenrant, it is still unknown what danger lies for the duo, and they will likely need help from their friends, ultimately connecting the two shows.
