Max’s ‘VELMA: THIS HALLOWEEN NEEDS TO BE MORE SPECIAL!’ Will Premiere October 3

According to a Max Press Release, the Max original Velma: This Halloween Needs To Be More Special will release for the first time on Max on Thursday, October 3.

The Logline is as follows, “With just 24 hours to bring Velma back, the friends search for a dark spellbook while trying to avoid the wrath of a

vengeful spirit. But as the annual Sexy Halloween party nears, Velma and the gang must face their biggest fears… if they all want to make it out alive.”

The main cast will include Constance Wu (Fresh Off The Boat, Crazy Rich Asians), Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, That 80’s Show), Mindy Kaling (The Office, The Mindy Project), and Sam Richardson (Ted Lasso, Hocus Pocus 2).

Other cast members who play side characters features Andia Winslow (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Playing Through), Debby Ryan (Jessie, The Suite Life on Deck), Frank Welker (Curious George, Scooby-Doo! The show was developed and written by Charlie Grandy (Champions, Velma).
