Max’s ‘The Penguin’ Fourth Episode Reaches High Audience Viewership, With A Total Of 1.7M

The Penguin first season is continuing, and the audience’s interest is increasing in each episode. A new update from Warner Bros. Discovery shows that the fourth episode had an exceptional spike in audience viewership, with a total of 1.7M all over the U.S., Deadline exclusively reports.

According to Deadline, the second episode of the series drew in a total of 1.6M people, which showed a 17% increase over the series premiere episode. As of today, the premiere episode now has more than 13M viewers.

The Penguin debuted last month, according to Deadline, and it became quickly Max’s biggest four-day audience for a new series in every U.S. region. According to WBD, it even peaked worldwide. it also had Max‘s biggest 4-day audience for a new series in every region globally, since The Last of Us premiere in Jan 2023.

Furthermore, according to Deadline, The Penguin averaged a total of 5.3 million viewers in the U.S. only, on its debut weekend.

According to Deadline, the series comes from the DC Studios comics and is executive produced by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Planet of the Apes), Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc. LeFranc is also a showrunner and writer for the show. Furthermore, Craig Zobel was the director and executive producer for the first three episodes. Bill Carraro is another executive producer for the show.

The Penguin‘s cast includes Colin Farrell (The Gentlemen, The Lobster) as Oz Cobb, Michael Zegen (The Marvelous Mrs. Masel, The Stand-In) as Alberto Falcone, Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs, How I Met Your Mother) as Sofia Falcone, Clancy Brown (Dexter: New Blood, Gen V) as Salvatore Maroni, Michael Kelly (Chronicle, Dawn Of The Dead), Rhenzy Feliz (Encanto, The Tender Bar), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Damsel, The Expanse), Deirdre O’Connell (Lez Bomb, The Boy Downstairs), James Madio (The Last Push, The Featherweight), Scott Cohen (The Tenth Kingdom, Love & Other Drugs), Theo Rossi (Dear Zoe, Lowriders) and Carmen Ejogo (Sparkle, The Purge: Anarchy).

The Penguin is now available on Max and HBO and airs every Sunday.
