According to the press release, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is about a mother, Paula (Maslany), who falls into blackmail, murder and youth soccer. The recent divorcee thinks she sees a crime and decides to investigate it herself. In the midst of a custody battle and finding her own identity, she will crack a larger conspiracy while solving the mystery that lies within.

According to Apple TV, the cast includes Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why, Looks That Kill), Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us, The White Lotus), Jessy Hodges (Barry, Beside Still Water), Jon Michael Hill (Elementary, Detroit 1-8-7), Charlie Hall (The Sex Lives of College Girls, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story), Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg (Charmed, Invasion), Nola Wallace (The Strangers: Chapter 2, The Strangers: Chapter 3) and Dolly De Leon (Nine Perfect Strangers, Triangle of Sadness).

Joining Rosen on the production team is director David Gordon Green (Nutcrackers, The Righteous Gemstones), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Invasion) and Audrey Chon (The Running Man, Oldboy) for Genre Films; Bard Dorros (The Midnight Sky, The Take) for Anonymous Content; and Tony Hernandez (They Came Together, Inside Amy Shumer), Lilly Burns (Emily In Paris, They Came Together), and Elise Henderson (Heart of Stone, Batgirl and An t-Eilean) for Counterpart Studios.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed arrives on Apple TV on May 20 worldwide, with its first two episodes. It will run through though July 15. mxdwn previously reported that the series will be featured at this year’s ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas from May 28-31.
