Following his appearance on the HBO Max Friends reunion special, Matt LeBlanc (Joey) has taken Ireland by storm after several Irish social media users took notice of how the actor has grown to resemble their relatives, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The reunion special debuted on May 27 and followed the original cast of the 1994 sitcom reminisced about the show that made them household names. The nation proclaimed that LeBlanc’s clothes and demeanor during the two-hour-long special reminded them of their uncle or ‘da.’
During the special, LeBlanc sat alongside co-stars and friends Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show), Courtney Cox (Cougar Town), Lisa Kudrow (The Comeback), David Schwimmer (Intelligence), and Matthew Perry (Fools Rush In) while wearing a black, striped button-down shirt that several Twitter users compared to their relatives’ closets.

The rest of the world should know that for the last 24 hours Irish Twitter has become OBSESSSED with how much Matt Le Blanc looks like everyone’s uncle/cousin. Read this thread to get the full sense of it. Or don’t; because you won’t understand the half of it. https://t.co/Yu5XtxMhmC
