The new Netflix comedy from Aziz Ansari has a trailer.
The show, which stars Ansari as Dev, will take a look at the difficulties of millennial life. The full trailer can be watched below.
Dev is a thirty-something actor trying to make it in New York. He has trouble committing to anything and struggles with relationships in the modern age. The trailer has a similar feel to Ansari’s stand-up which focuses on the same issues.
The trailer opens with Dev offering to pay for emergency contraceptive and calling it “his treat.” Dev also goes to an audition and is asked to do an Indian accent for the role. There’s a lot of discussion about the fears of committing to a partner and the future.
The show will also tackle some big issues like race and sexism. There is a part in the trailer where they compare the comments of an Instagram picture that a female gets versus a male.
Master Of None will premiere on November 6. All ten half-hour episodes will be released for viewing then.
