‘Mare of Easttown’ Season Two Could Start Filming As Early As 2027

It is no surprise that HBO’s Mare of Easttown has been renewed for second season, however the question was when would it come out. According to Deadline, the actress Kate Winslet (Goodbye June, Avatar: Fire and Ash) had said that there is a strong likelihood that the season will begin filming in 2027.

For those who don’t know what Mare of Easttown is, the series was created by Brad Ingelsby (Task, The Lost Bus) and is a crime drama that follows Detective Mare Sheehan who lives in Pennsylvania and is investigating a murder while her own life unraveling due to personal tragedy, family struggles, and a past unresolved missing person’s case. According to Deadline, Kate Winslet (Goodbye June, Avatar: Fire and Ash) mentioned that the series was designed to be a one off single season drama. Winslet had this to say regarding the second season, “‘They were proper conversations around a timeframe when it could be possible. And so I think we probably will do it, and that’s the first time I’ve felt that,’ Winslet declares. Winslet stressed that it ‘wouldn’t actually be this year, I reckon it would end up being 2027 to film it. There’s a strong likelihood it would film sometime in 2027.'”

The cast consists of Kate Winslet (Goodbye June, Avatar: Fire and Ash), Julianne Nicholson (Paradise, The Tiger), Jean Smart (Too Good, Hacks), Angourie Rice (Haunted Hotel, Steal Away), John Douglas Thompson (The Gilded Age, Highest 2 Lowest), Joe Tippett (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, A Complete Unknown), Cameron Mann (Straight Laced, Eddington), Jack Mulhern (The Boys in the Boat, I’ll Be Right There), Justin Hurtt-Dunkley (The Empty Chair, Ghosts), Sosie Bacon (Hazard, Keep Coming Back), David Denman (Peacemaker, Bosch: Legacy), Neal Huff (The Madness, The Front Room), James McArdle (Playing Nice, Four Mothers), Guy Pearce (The Woman in Cabin 10, Killing Faith), Ruby Cruz (The Threesome, Steak Dinner), and Enid Graham (A House of Dynamite, Blue Bloods).
