Huffington Post reports Marc Blucas is heading to Blue Bloods on CBS.
The former Buffy: The Vampire Slayer star was most recently seen as a regular for the first two seasons of USA’s Necessary Roughness. Now he’s switching over to Blue Bloods.
Blue Bloods is a drama following a family of New York Cops starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Carlou and Amy Carlson.
According to Huffington Post, Blucas will appear as Russell, a movie star who joins Danny (Wahlberg) for a ride along to research a new role, in the upcoming fourth season. Blucas’ character is described as “extremely charismatic, talented, good-humored, accessible and friendly.”
However, things don’t go as planned during Russell’s ride along. His secret life gets him in trouble and he makes a deal: In exchange for Danny’s help and silence, Russell is prepared to help him find a perpetrator.
Blue Bloods returns on Friday, September 27 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
