Maggie Griffin, Mother of TV Star Kathy Griffin, Dies at Age 99

Kathy Griffin: My life on a D-List co-star Maggie Griffin passed away on Tuesday, age 99. The sixth-season reality revision series aired on Bravo and depicted Kathy Griffin’s journey to become an Hollywood celebrity. Maggie Griffin also appeared on Kathy and Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story, thus building her own fanbase with her bubbly personality.

This is her daughter who tweeted the news on Tuesday night, along with a picture of her and her mother sharing a glass of wine in Los Angeles. “She appreciated you guys so much. I’m shaking. I won’t ever be prepared. Her point of view. So unique. We just GOT each other. I’m so grateful you got to be part of her life. You loved her. I know it. She knew it. She’s irreplaceable. ”

In January 2019, Griffin shared that her mother was suffering from dementia and that September 2018 was the last time she had “a proper/coherent conversation with her”.
