

In a surprising turn of events, new episodes of the continuous animated comedy series, South Park hit a snag and hadn’t release new episodes this previous week. Deadline reports, the series has been well known for its mature humor, making fun of of various current events and celebrities. The series’s creators, Matt Stone (Team America: World Police, Orgazmo) and Trey Parker (Despicable Me 3, BASEketball) reveal the reason behind the episodes delay. This isn’t the first time the series has had an episode delay, back in 2013 due to a wide power outage the team and studio facing a major setback.
Stone and Parker announces in an interview with Deadline this morning,”apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done” which unfortunately done 12 hours before the latest episode was supposed to air. They further state,” this one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!” Even though the creators pride themselves with creating and releasing episodes in just six days, the end result all comes down to wire.
Stated by Deadline, the new episode of South Park is set to air on September 24 at 10 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central, and it will later be available on Paramount+. Following this, new episodes are scheduled for Wednesdays at updated times on the following dates: October 15, October 29, November 12, November 26, and December 10. Fans will surely be excited to see the returns of the wonderful voice actor team of the series.
While fans await on the new release of episode, all previous seasons and episodes of South Park are available to stream on either Paramount+ or Comedy Central. According to Deadline, with episodes soon to return, viewers can enjoy the crazy humor the series is well known for.
