The Mad Men actress will join the Fox comedy cast in February.
Linda Cardellini, the Mad Men Emmy nominee actress will appear in multiple episodes of New Girl. Accordinging to The Hollywood Reporter, this is her first onscreen TV role since her role on Mad Men.
Cardellini will play the role of Abbey, Jess’s (Zooey Deschanel) sister. Abbey is not the first family member of Jess who appeared in the series. In previous episodes, Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner appeared as Jess parents and both of them will come back in January.
Cardellini is repped by ICM and will be seen in the series in February. New Girl is a show about a young woman who moves into an apartment loft with three single men who will learn to get along with her weird behavior. The series will return on January 7, 2014.
