Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Hotel Transylvania, Palm Springs) is joining Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live, Late Night, New Year’s Eve) on Apr. 15th at PaleyFest LA, Deadline reports. The famous actor and comedian will be hosting the special panel event to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Late Night With Seth Meyers, the famous NBC series.
According to Deadline, Meyers and Samberg have worked together and met during Saturday Night Live and, since then, have had a remarkable friendship. Samberg appears on Late Night With Seth Meyers often, symbolizing that this friendship has been going strong for many years. Meyers has also been Samberg’s groomsman at his wedding.
Samberg has taken the world by storm with his portrayal of whimsical, yet intelligent, detective Jake Peralta in the popular NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He has also been seen on Hulu’s dystopian-romantic comedy Palm Springs as the carefree character of Nyles. Furthermore, other projects of Samberg’s include That’s My Boy, alongside Adam Sandler (Grown Ups, Just Go with It, 50 First Dates); Hotel Transylvania, alongside Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building, Selena+Chef, Wizards Of Waverly Place); the comedy movie Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and Hot Rod in 2007. He has also created an animated project named Digman! in 2023.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine alum has received a many awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in Television Series Musical or Comedy, a Best Comedy Actor TV trophy at the 2014 American Comedy Awards, Outstanding Lead Actor at the Poppy Awards in 2016 and Best Actor in a Science Fiction Movie in the 2021 Critics’ Choice Super Awards for his work in Palm Springs.
According to Deadline, Late Night with Seth Meyers premiered on NBC on Feb. 24th, 2014. The late-night show was produced by Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video and Universal Television. The executive producers of the series were by Mike Shoemaker (High School USA, Teen Titans Go, The Awesomes), Meyers and Michaels.
This panel is added to a fantastic lineup for Paleyfest 2024, including Apple TV+’s The Morning Show which will be the first panel to begin this special week as people will conversate with executive producers and stars of the show Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde, Big Little Lies, Cruel Intentions) and Jennifer Aniston (Friends, Just Go With It, Murder Mystery), via Deadline.
According to Deadline, this star-stellar lineup includes, in order: Loki, on Saturday, Apr. 13th, with special participation of Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager, Henry V, High Rise); Young Sheldon, followed by the live-action of Nickelodeon’s Avatar named Avatar: The Last Airbender on the same day, Sunday, Apr. 14th. A few days later, on Apr. 18th, Curb Your Enthusiasm is on the list of panels. To conclude, there will be a special table read of Family Guy, celebrating its 25th anniversary, and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, both being on Apr. 20th.
Late Night With Seth Meyers is available for streaming now on NBC and FuboTV. Furthermore, on Peacock and Hulu, the episodes are available the next day after they have premiered.
