Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights) has signed on to star in Netflix’s psychological thriller.
Reported exclusively by Deadline, the thriller comes from Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler and Sony Pictures TV. Chandler received many pilot offers and chose to sign with Netflix for the 13-episode series.
The Netflix series is written and executive produced by the Kessler brothers and Zelman. It is a follow-up to the highly praised FX/DirecTV legal thriller starring Glenn Close. This untitled series follows a family of adult siblings who have their secrets and scar revealed upon the return home the of black sheep oldest brother. Rumors state that Chandler will portray the married middle brother who takes care of the family.
The series serves as a reunion for Chandler and Sony TV; he starred in the studio’s Showtime pilot of The Vatican last year. Chandlers acting credits include Friday Night Lights, Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, and The Wolf Of Wall Street. He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment.
Filming should begin in late March in the Florida Keys.
