The 30-year-old singer and actress is no longer part of the CBS new pilot, says Deadline.
Krysta Rodriguez, who was supposed to play a leading character in the How I Met Your Mother spin-off, was suddenly dropped from the pilot.
Though no official reason was given by the show’s producers, it is known that Krysta’s character, Juliet, underwent a few changes after the first table read, and it may have been that the actress was no longer suitable for the part.
Krysta Rodriguez is best known for her role as Ana Vargas in NBC’s Smash, she’s also played a minor role in Gossip Girl and in the mini-series It Could Be Worse, among other credits.
