As Keeping Up with the Kardashians begins its eighth season, the Kardashian/Jenner family has another show on the way. Matriarch Kris Jenner is launching her new talk show on Fox. She begins by telling Hollywood Life, “When we’re all just hanging out- that’s my favorite time. Lots of laughs, great conversation, and I thought that would make for a great talk show.”
According to Deadline, the 57-year-old mother of six and grandmother of two got the green light for her own one-hour daily talk show. Kris Jenner explains that this idea has been circulating for quite some time, explaining, “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!” as reported by Deadline. She continues, “I can’t wait for this new adventure to begin.”
Hollywood Life explains that the show promises to feature celebrity guests, hinting that daughter Kim or grand-daughter-to-be Kim junior may be among the first guests. Hollywood Life claims that Jenner is “anxious to prove she is more than just the reality star momager and wants to be the next Barbara Walters!”
Kris is scheduled to premiere July 15 on select Fox stations.
