Kelly Osbourne has officially departed from E!’s Fashion Police.
Fashion Police had just returned this past January. The show had taken a break due to the tragic death of Joan Rivers. Osbourne, after threatening to leave, has finally made her decision.
According to Hollywood Reporter, “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!’s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers,” read a network statement. “Fashion Police will return as scheduled on Monday, March 30, at 9 p.m., and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”
Kelly Osbourne’s issues with the show can be proved through her venting on Twitter. Her problems arise with colleague Giuliana Rancic. Rancic was accused of trashing Zendaya Coleman’s Oscars look. Apparently she said that Coleman’s new dreadlocks look seemed as if she smelled like weed. Zendaya Coleman was quick to call her out on social media, and Rancic immediately apologized.
Since the Golden Globes Fashion Police has not been as big of a hit as it has been in the past. The returning episode in January didn’t even reach 1 million viewers.
