Comedy Central has confirmed plans to host a roast for the easy mark, Justin Bieber.
Early Tuesday morning Ryan Seacrest broke the news about Bieber’s impending roast, scheduled to air March 7, 2015. Bieber’s Comedy Central roast will be the network’s first since the 2013 roast of James Franco.
In recent years, the 20-year-old Bieber has provided a wealth of material for comedians of all kinds from egging his neighbor’s house to peeing in a restaurant mop bucket and abandoning a monkey in Germany. He was most recently the butt of a recessing joke on last week’s Saturday Night Live hosted by Kevin Hart that parodied his ridiculous Calvin Klein add campaign and the controversy that surrounded it.
According to Vulture, Comedy Central president Kent Alterman commented, “Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened.”
Bieber is excited to once again be the source of laughter.
