Julie Henderson to Move to 21st Century Fox

Former News Corp. chief communications officer Julie Henderson will move to 21st Century Fox after Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. splits later this week, as reported by the LA Times.

Henderson will continue to serve as chief communications officer and also as executive vice president for renamed entertainment company 21st Century Fox, as stated by the LA Times.

On the switch, 21st Century Fox said, “Ms. Henderson will continue to serve as the chief spokesperson for the company, leading all global communications initiatives, specifically in support of corporate financial matters, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues and litigation,” also reported by the LA Times.

COO of News Corp., Chase Carey spoke highly of Henderson, saying, “Julie is an invaluable member of our executive team, and her work in effectively communicating our vision and corporate perspective on key issues has become even more vital as we begin a new chapter in our company’s history,” the Hollywood Reporter quoted.

This area of the company will be home to television and film studios, in addition to Fox News, as announced by the Hollywood Reporter. The changes will begin this Friday.
