According to Deadline, the Co-President of Scott Free Television, Jordan Sheehan, has officially joined MRC as the EVP of TV Development. This means that Sheehan will be responsible for developing programs, production deals, as well as reporting to MRC’s president Jenna Sanoianni.
According to the MRC Website, MRC is a “leading independent studio, which sources, finances, develops, and produces shows in partnership with the industry’s foremost creative artists. To date, the studio’s series have been nominated for 111 Emmy® Awards and 21 Golden Globe® Awards.”
According to Scott Free Television’s website, they are “the film and television production vehicle of acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott. In the 25 years since Scott Free was formed, the company has earned over 100 Emmy nominations with 22 wins, and 28 Golden Globe nominations for its television projects.”
Deadline says that this is Sanoianni’s first big move as an executive since she was given the title of President of TV in March of this year. MRC is responsible for titles such as Poker Face on Peacock, The Terminal List on Prime Video, and other notable names.
In her absence, Scott Free Television has named Co-President Clayton Krueger as president of the division, claims Deadline. Sheehan spent over a decade working with Scott Free Television, helping with shows such as The Man In The High Castle on Prime Video, The Good Fight on Paramount, Raised By Wolves on Max, and more.
Sheehan also assisted on shows such as Coma, BrainDead, The Terror, The Hot Zone, Kaleidoscope, and Still Missing Morgan. All of these titles were when she was working with Scott Free Television.
Upcoming works for MRC include Time Bandits and the Ted series, as explained by Deadline. With the news, people are awaiting the new shows Sheehan produces with her new status at MRC as EVP of Television Development.
