Jon Hamm Set To Star In New Apple Tv Series ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’ From Jonathan Tropper

According to Deadline, Jon Hamm (Mad Men, The Morning Show) will star in Jonathan Tropper’s (Banshee, Warrior) new series Your Friends and Neighbors, which comes from Apple Studios.

According to Deadline, “Hamm stars as Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who, after being fired, resorts to stealing from the wealthy residents in his tony upstate New York suburb in order to keep his family’s lifestyle afloat. These petty crimes begin to reinvigorate him until he breaks into the wrong house at the wrong time.”

Since Hamm’s Apple Tv+ ad “Everyone but Jon Hamm”, he has now appeared in the Morning Show and will now play the lead in his own Apple Tv show.

Hamm will star as well as executive produce while Topper will serve as the showrunner and an executive producer. Recent Hamm collaborator, Connie Tavel (Confess Fletch, Judging Amy) has also been reported an an executive producer.

Hamm has recently appeared as Sheriff Roy Tillman season five of Fargo along side Juno Temple (The Offer, Ted Lasso), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical, Poolman), David Rysdahl (Oppenheimer, Black Mirror) and Joe Keery (Stranger Things, Free Guy).

Tropper recently wrote on season three of Warrior, the martial arts crime drama he created in 2019. Warrior stars Andrew Koji (Snake Eyes, Bullet Train), Olivia Cheng (See, The Stand) and Jason Tobin (F9, Fistful of Vengeance).

Hamm is repped by CAA, Forward Entertainment and Sloan, Offer, Weber and Dern and Wolf-Kasteler Public Relations. Tropper is represented by CAA, Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment and attorney Fred Toczek at Felker, Toczek, Suddleson, Abramson.
