The talk show host remains in serious condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital following cardiac arrest last Thursday, Deadline explains.
Though no official statement has been released following Rivers’ admission on Thursday, her daughter, Melissa Rivers said in a statement on Friday: “My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”
Joan Rivers was placed into a medically-induced coma on Saturday and is currently completely reliant on life support.
