Apple TV+ is looking forward with its latest renewal news for their post-apocalyptic drama, See. The Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) drama series, which is preparing to release its second season later this year, has been renewed for a third season, via TVLine.
See follows a fractured society that has left those who survived a virus that impacted the globe without the ability to see. According to TVLine, Momoa plays Baba Voss who leads a tribe of survivors. In the first season of See, Baba Voss and his wife have twins who are born with the ability to see, causing them to be hunted by warring tribes.

The season two trailer that was released along with the season three renewal announcement shows Baba Voss’ daughter captured by a rival tribe leader. According to TVLine, the sophomore season will follow Baba Voss as he travels far and wide to free his daughter who is counting on him for her survival.

In addition to a sneak peek at the major plot line of the second season, fans were introduced to the captor, who will be played by Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy). According to TVLine, Bautista’s character is named Edo Voss, who it turns out is Baba Voss’ brother.
Bautista took to Twitter to announce his new role in the series, stating he is “honored to play the brother of [his] brother”, Jason Momoa.

The second season of See will begin streaming exclusively on Apple TV+ on August 27. All episodes of the first season are additionally available on the streaming service.
