According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Ryan achieved the highest spot it has ever seen on the Nielsen streaming chart since the debut of Jack Ryan’s third season in the late months of 2022. The recent rise of Suits has kept its spot on the chart and ranks fourth overall for its fourth week straight.
On Amazon’s Prime Video, Jack Ryan drew in 1.15 billion minutes of viewing in one singular week, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jack Ryan viewing increased by 19% from the week prior and also hit its highest minutes of viewing since late December 2022.
Suits has had a record-breaking rise since its debut and has even broken the single-week record for a library show on the chart for third time in a row. The popular Australia-based kids show Bluey has also recorded its first billion-minute week as more episodes release on Disney+.
On both Netflix and Peacock, Suits has approximately 3.7 billion minutes of watch time. These numbers are the best ever for an acquired series in Nielsen’s rankings. Ever since the show premiered on Netflix in June, the former USA Network show has acquired 12.83 billion minutes of viewing.
With the new episodes of Bluey being released on Disney+, the children’s show garnered 1.35 billion minutes of viewing, which is the highest ever for Disney+.
Netflix hasn’t had a bad run either, alongside Suits, Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer finished with a strong 1.28 billion, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Netflix’s docuseries Quarterback premiered with crazy numbers, reaching 853 million minutes viewed.
Prime Video didn’t only top with Jack Ryan, but also with the beloved coming-of-age romance series The Summer I Turned Pretty with around 525 million minutes of watch time.
These numbers are insanely impressive as Nielsen’s streaming rating cover doesn’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices, but only minutes on television sets. The ratings also do not measure minutes watched in other countries, only in the Uniter States.
