The action acclaimed animate series, Invincible, is returning for part two of its second season. The animated show is based on the popular comic series of the same name, which follows the growing journey of Mark as he learns more about himself and master his powers. According to Comicbook, a first look for the upcoming fifth episode has been released ahead of schedule, and season two is schedule to kick off in late fall. In the previous episode, Omni Man and Mark were fighting against other villains, but they were defeated by General Kregg, who took Omni Man with him. Across various social media, fans are showing their enthusiasm of the animated shows return.
According to Comicbook, on the Invincible X page, a post of the first look displays Mark, aka Invincible voiced by Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), and the team fighting new adversaries. The description of the post states” This Thursday… TWO world shattering emergencies at the same time?!” While the first look doesn’t go it specific on the future episodes, it gives fans of the show something to look forward to.
Along with Yeun, the second part is sure to showcase the original voice actors such as, J.K Simons (Spider-Man) as Omni Man, Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn-99) as Rexplode, Gillian Jacobs (Fear Street) as Atom Eve, and many more. According to Comicbook, Prime Video will begin streaming weekly episode of Invincible season two beginning on March 14th.
