As production for season four of HBO’s Industry gets underway, the drama series has added three more to its cast. Deadline lists Charlie Heaton (The New Mutants, As You Are), Kal Penn (House, Van Wilder), and Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black, Domina) joining the fray at Pierpoint & Co.
Deadline reports Penn is set to portray Jay Jonah Atterbury, the CEO and co-founder of Tender, a payment processor company that will take the spotlight this season. He will share the company with previously announced Max Minghella (Spiral, The Handmaid’s Tale).
Stranger Things‘ Heaton has scored the role of finance journalist, Jim Dycker, while Deadline has Forlani as Cordelia Hanai-Spyrka, a PR titan in the corporate space.
Other additions include Jack Frathing (Spencer, The Riot Club), Amy James-Kelly (Three Families, Safe), and Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso, The Power), according to Deadline. Jimoh is a trader, Kwabena Bannerman, who works for Mostyn Asset Management. James-Kelly is Jennifer Bevan, a political figure and newly minted Minister of the Labour Party. Farthing will play Edward Smith, a friend of Kit Harinton’s Henry.
Created, written, and executive produced by Konrad Kay (Hoff the Record, The Avengers) and Mickey Down (The Avengers, Gregor), Industry details the inner workings of corporate finance at the UK firm Pierpoint. Entering the company through the eyes of junior interns fresh from University, we witness the explosive highs and tremendous lows of the high-stakes profession, and the crippling impact it has on their personal lives.
The series garnered an extra boost, shifting from Monday evenings to HBO’s prime 9 p.m. slot on Sundays last August. The series stars Myah’la (Leave the World Behind, Bodies Bodies Bodies) as Harper Stern, Ken Leung as Eric Tao (Missing, Lost), and Marisa Abela (Rogue Agent, Back to Black) as Yasmin Kara-Hanani. Season three concluded with Yasmin’s major relationship decision while Harper allied with a greater power.
All three seasons of Industry are currently available to stream on Max.
