Paradise has officially wrapped production on its third and final season. According to ScreenRant, creator and showrunner Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, Tangled, Life Itself) confirmed that filming has concluded in Los Angeles.
Fogelman shared the production update in a social media post featuring members of the show’s crew, noting that many of them previously worked with him on This Is Us. Jon Beavers (Animal Kingdom, Licorice Pizza, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1), who portrays Billy Pace, also confirmed that filming had wrapped.

The upcoming season will bring back Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther, Waves, American Fiction) as Xavier Collins alongside several returning cast members. James Marsden (Hairspray, 27 Dresses, Enchanted) and Beavers are also expected to appear despite their characters’ deaths, while Elijah Wood (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl, Whiplash, Patriots Day) have joined the cast for the final season.
Executive producer and writer John Hoberg (Elemental, Better Off Ted, My Name Is Earl) also teased what viewers can expect from the show’s conclusion. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hoberg promised that the creative team intends to provide answers to the mysteries established throughout the series.
“And like we always do in the show, we’ll answer it because we are ending at the end of season three, and I promise that we will answer every question I believe you have,” Hoberg said.
The second season concluded with several unanswered questions, including the revelation involving Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond, played by Julianne Nicholson (Blonde, Dream Scenario, Mare of Easttown), and Xavier’s potential connection to User X. The final season is also expected to further explore the quantum computer known as Alex and the aftermath of the destruction of the underground bunker.
Created by Fogelman, Paradise follows Secret Service agent Xavier Collins as he investigates the death of President Cal Bradford, portrayed by Marsden, within a community built to survive a catastrophic event. The series also stars Nicholson, Sarah Shahi (Black Adam, Life, Alias), Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Affair, The Gilded Age, Here on Out) and Thomas Doherty (The Lodge, The Invitation, Descendants 3).
The first season of Paradise premiered in 2025, followed by the second season in 2026. A premiere date for the third and final season has not yet been announced.
The first two seasons of Paradise are currently streaming on Hulu.
