Hulu has just dropped their Youtube red band trailer for season two of Solar Opposites. According to the trailer, the show is scheduled to premiere March 26, 2021.
Solar Opposites is an animated series that follows a group of four aliens, Korvo, Yumyulack, Terry, and Jesse, who fled from their home planet just before it exploded in search of a new planet to house their kind. The show begins after their ship crash lands on top of an American home in the middle of suburbia. Korvo voiced by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty), and Yumyulack voiced by Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) both hate earth. As they only see the worst of it, from pollution to our meat bag bodies, they despise every minute they are forced to spend here. On the other hand, Terry voiced by Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) and Jesse voiced by Mary Mack (Fox’s Golan The Insatiable) see the best. These two can’t seem to eat enough junk food and after falling in love with TV, they don’t want to leave. Despite the circumstances there is one mission they all uphold to protect the Pupa even though they may go about it differently. The Pupa is a biological supercomputer capable of great feats that accompanied the group of aliens to their home on Earth. One day it will evolve into its true form when it will consume them and terraform the Earth.
The short teaser trailer ladened with F-bombs, shows just how badly Korvo wants to get off earth, but that joy is short lived because just like so many times in the series his devious master plan is foiled once again. After getting the ship to hover just a few feet above the house its been resting in since the beginning of the first season, it crashes back down. Leaving us with more hilarious hijinx for the next season. Check out the trailer below:
