Deadline shared an exclusive article today with fans of Hulu’s hit show Paradise with the news of Shailene Woodley’s (To Catch A Killer, Big Little Lies) onboarding to the cast. Paradise marks Hulu’s first political drama and so far has been doing pretty well. Viewers are excited to see Woodley take a different approach as the star is known for her performances in the dramas The Fault In Our Stars and The Divergent trilogy. Recently, Woodley moved to TV and took the small screen with her popular show Big Little Lies.
Paradise follows a secret service agent who is tasked with finding the murder of a former president.Of course, with the unraveling of an investigation, nothing goes as planned and things never stay buried for long. With high stakes investigation, there’s no guaranteed safety for the characters. Deadline reported Woodley’s character is yet to be named but is rumored to be working with Agent Xavier who is played by Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther, This Is Us). This will continue the plot of season one as Agent Xavir uncovers who killed the president in the season one finale. This sparks the question of what now? Viewers are waiting anxiously to find out what will happen in season two as production is in progress and a release date has yet to be announced.
Following Brown and Woodley, some other cast members we’ve seen in series are Julianne Nicholson (Dope Girls, Dream Scenario) starring as Sintra, Sarah Shahi (Judgement, Black Adam) starring as Dr. Gabriella Torabi, Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Gilded Age, Here On Out) starring as Jane Driscoll, James Marsden (Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Unfrosted) starring as Cal Bradford, Krys Marshall (Bad Monkey, For All Mankind) starring as Robinson, Matt Malloy (Alaska Daily, The Sex Lives Of College Girls) starring as Henry Baines, Richard Robichaux (Hit Man, The Long Game) staring as Carl and Eddie Diaz (The Lincoln Lawyer, American Housewife) starring as Mike Garcia. Fans get excited for Woodley’s return to the small screen as she is guaranteed a major role in the series. Stream season one now on Hulu to catch all the drama!
