Hulu And Crunchyroll’s Anime ‘Kaiju No.8’ Releases Trailer And Release Window For Second Season

Kaiju No. 8 has finally released the official first trailer for its upcoming season, Comicbook.com reports exclusively. The announcement was released on Tuesday morning by the anime’s team at Production I.G.

According to Comicbook.com, the official release window for the second season has been confirmed to be in 2025. The anime was created by Naoya Matsumoto (The Outsider, Avataro Sentai Donbrothers). If anyone is interested in checking out the trailer, it’s embedded below.

According to Comicbook.com, the new trailer doesn’t show anything the fans don’t already know. During season one, Kafka, the lead character of the anime, realized he had special powers, which he named “kaiju.” He was able to join the Japan Defense Force and find his true calling, which is to save the world.

But by the end of the first season, Comicbook.com reports, Kafka had to deal with unfortunate events that led to an intense cliffhanger, as his powers were revealed to the rest of the world, not only to the Force, as he previously thought. Now, Kafka will keep exploring what he could do with his new powers at the Japan Defense Force, and fans are eager to see what will happen in the second season.
