According to an official press relese by Warner Bros, Max has announced an exciting opportunity for music enthusiasts nationwide. The network, in collaboration with Beatport, has launched the Beatport Presents House of the Dragon Remix Challenge, inviting fans and artists alike to reimagine the iconic series’ theme song through electronic remixes.
The contest, which kicks off today and runs through May 29, is open to residents of the 50 U.S. states and Washington D.C., aged 18 and older. Contestants can download stem files of the House Of The Dragon theme song from Loopcloud.com to create their remixes. Submissions will be judged by a distinguished panel including select cast members from the House Of The Dragon, representatives from Beatport, and Ed Banger Records, and should be submitted here. Two remixes will be selected, one will be representing the Green Council and one representing the Black Council. Additionally, four runners-up will be chosen.
Key dates for the competition include the launch on May 13, 2024, with entries closing on May 29, 2024. The winner will be announced on or about June 14 via Beatportal and various social media platforms. The second season of House of the Dragon, consisting of eight episodes, premieres on Sunday, June 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will also be available for streaming on Max.
