Bo-Katan Kryze, played by Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica, Oculus), who was an important character within The Mandalorian series, has been confirmed to return to the big screen. According to Screenrant, the last time that fans saw Bo-Katan was back in the third season finale, where she, with the rest of the Mandalorian clan, defeated Moff Gideon, played by Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Electric State), and resettled back on Mandalore.
This was not the first time Sackhoff had played the iconic character, as she also voiced Bo-Katan within various animated series, which include Star Wars: The Clone Wars. According to Screenrant, throughout the series, Bo-Katan underwent a major character growth from starting out as ruthless to becoming a more compassionate and understanding leader figure.
Sackhoff in an interview with Screenrant states her enthusiasm about her Star Wars character return to the screen. The entire conversation was also posted on various social media platforms such as Instagram. Her entire conversation can be seen below.
You will see her again in some form. That’s all you need to know. Dave Filoni cannot get rid of me, because Bo Katan is based off of his wife, so I’ve got some job security.

Sackhoff’s confirmation, while thrilling, remains tantalizingly vague on specifics. According to Screenrant, it can be applied that Bo-Katan’s assistance will transfer into the highly anticipated film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, in which she will reunite with Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, Game of Thrones), and Grogu, voiced by David Acord (Star Wars Rebel, Next Gen). We can expect new adventure to follow with her return.
While fans await further information on when she will return, they can rewatch her journey through the entire three seasons of The Mandalorian available on Disney+.
