HBO’s ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Is Back For Another Season

According to a press release made by Warner Bros. Discovery, the HBO original series The Righteous Gemstones will be back for fourth season. Variety has reported this season is set to be the final season of the show. HBO has also released a sneak peek trailer of whats to come on the comedic show. In the trailer was stars John Goodman (Captive State,Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets), and Walton Goggins (Queen of The Ring, The Luckiest Man In America). 

The official synopsis is as follows: “THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. Despite constant bickering, Gemstone family ties run deep, and this season, the family’s codependence is tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past.”

The show is created, and executive produced by Danny McBride (The Mitchells vs. The Machine). He also stars in the production as one of the main characters Jesse Gemstone. Some of the executive producers include Jody Hill (The Legacy of A Whitetail Deer Hunter, Observe and Report) who is also in the production and serves as the executive director alongside David Gordon Green (Nutcrackers, Halloween Ends), and Johnathan Watson (Let Us Prey, Filth).

The show is set to be released on HBO and Max on March 9, 2025.
