HBO Max Announces Release Date And Drops Trailer For ‘The Flight Attendant’ Season 2

HBO Max announced today that season two of The Flight Attendant will premiere on April 21st with two new episodes, according to Deadline. They also released a trailer for the comedy-drama’s upcoming season.

The new season will have eight episodes, with two more releasing on April 28th and the last four being released one at a time weekly, Deadline reported.

The series stars Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) as Cassie Bowden. Zosia Mamet (The Kids Are All Right), Griffin Matthews (Cashmere Mafia), Deniz Akdeniz (The Cleaning Lady), and Rosie Perez (White Men Can’t Jump) are the other returning stars in recurring roles with T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Yasha Jackson (Black Mirror), and Audrey Grace Marshall (The Girl Who Got Away) also returning as recurring guest stars, Deadline reports.

HBO Max gave a description of season two of The Flight Attendant, which stated: “Cassie Bowden is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.”

Season two will also feature new members of the cast in recurring roles, which include Mo McRae (The First Purge), Callie Hernandez (Under The Silver Lake), and JJ Soria (Crank: High Voltage). There will also be new recurring guest stars including Alanna Ubach (Bombshell), Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jessie Ennis (The Disaster Artist), Mae Martin (Upstaged), Margaret Cho (All-American Girl), Santiago Cabrera (Big Little Lies), Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct), and Shohreh Aghdashloo (House Of Sand And Fog), according to Deadline.

Cuoco is an executive producer for the show, along with showrunner Steve Yockey (Supernatural), Natalie Chaidez (Heroes), Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon), Sarah Schechter (Free Guy), David Madden (Runaway Bride), Suzanne McCormack (Mom), Silver Tree (Dead To Me), and Jess Meyer (Trinkets).

The Flight Attendant is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions, and Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions banner. Season one was based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian (Midwives).
