Many hard working healthcare workers go under appreciated and are overworked. So to honor them, HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television Studios are treating healthcare workers nationwide to early screenings of The Pitt‘s season two finale, via a HBO press release. The studios are teaming with Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas to host the advanced fan screenings.
To celebrate the hard workers in the healthcare field, communities are invited to an early screening of The Pitt on Monday, April 13, at select Alamo Drafthouse locations nationwide. Retired and current healthcare staff are welcome to view these screenings, and can reserve their seat with a $10 food and beverage voucher. You can catch season two of the Max original series.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema was started in 1997 as a mom and pop small theater in Austin, TX. Twenty-nine years later, the name expanded with 40 locations and counting. Alamo Drafthouse made a name for themselves, not only by combining dining service with the movie-going experience, but also showing great flicks and high class events. Alamo Drafthouse created Fantastic Fest, another realm that was considered a genre film festival dubbed “The Geek Telluride” by Variety featuring indie film makers. Alamo Drafthouse continues to expand in new and exciting ways, starting and continuing with the American Genre Film Archive, a non-profit film filing dedicated to protecting, keeping, and restoring old films, and with several new theaters announced for this year and beyond.
In January, HBO Max treated healthcare workers to an early screening of the season two premiere. Cast and crew acknowledged healthcare professionals at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center with a day of wellness that included cool merch and panel featuring Patrick Ball (Law & Order, The Night Agent), Katherine LaNasa (Truth Be Told, Dynasty), Fiona Dourif (Chucky, The Blacklist), Taylor Dearden (Sweet/Vicious, American Vandal), Isa Briones (Star Trek: Picard, Goosebumps) and Gerran Howell (Catch-22, Young Dracula).
