According to Deadline, HBO has announced the premiere date for the much-anticipated third season of Euphoria. The series wrapped up production this month and will air the third season in April 2026. The network has yet to specify an official date. This news comes four years after the conclusion of the second season back in February 2022.

As per Deadline, the third season will include eight new episodes and will star Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Greatest Showman), who reprises her Emmy-winning role of Rue Bennett, along with Sydney Sweeney (The White Lotus, The Handmaid’s Tale) and Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth, Frankenstein) who return as series regulars alongside Hunter Schafer (Cuckoo, Kinds of Kindness) as Jules, Eric Dane (Brilliant Minds, One Fast Move) as Cal, Alexa Demie (Fantasmas, The Idol) as Maddy and Maude Apatow (This Is 40, The King of Staten Island) as Lexi, with Colman Domingo (The Running Man, Wicked: For Good) back as guest star as the role of Ali. Storm Reid (A Wrinkle in Time, The Last Of Us) and Barbie Ferreira (Mile End Kicks, Nope) will not be reprising their roles in the third season. Sadly another actor not returning will be Angus Cloud (Abigail, Freaky Tales) who passed away after the second season of the series.
According to Deadline, Euphoria follows the life of Rue, played by Zendaya, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean. Through the series, we see different high school characters in the town of East Highland, California, who try to balance the strains of love, loss, sex and addiction.
As per Deadline, creator Sam Levinson (Malcom & Marie, Assassination Nation) wrote, directed, and executive-produced the series, which comes from A24. Other executive producers include Kevin Turen (Hurry Up Tomorrow, That Awkward Moment), Ravi Nandan (Mo, Beef), Drake (Amsterdam, Game Night), Adel Nur (Dear Mama, Ponyboi), Zendaya, Will Greenfield (Loving, Sinners), Ashley Levinson (The Green Knight, Those Who Wish Me Dead), Ron Leshem (Bad Boy, Red Skies), Daphna Levin (The Truth, In Therapy), and Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein (Ned Club: The Movie, Scarred).
According to Deadline, the third season will also include new cast members joining the cast. This includes Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct, Casino), Kadeem Hardison (Drive, The 6th Man), Rosalia (Pain and Glory, Los Ángeles), Marshawn Lynch (Love Hurts, Bottoms), Eli Roth (Night Always Comes, The Idol), Sam Trammell (True Blood, The Fault In Our Stars), Bella Podaras (Family Reunion, Barry), Cailyn Rice (1923, Valentine), Danielle Deadwyler (The Harder They Fall, Station Eleven), Gideon Adlon (Shape Island, Ghost), Natasha Lyonne (Orange Is The New Black), Poker Face), Hemky Madera (Play Dirty, The Lincoln Lawyer), Colleen Camp (Clue, Silver), Homer Gere (August, The Shards), Jack Topalian (Sugar, Duster), Jessica Blair Herman (American Crime Story, Speechless), Kwame Patterson (The Wire, American Crime Story), Madison Thompson (Ozark, The Map That Leads To You), Matthew Willig (We’re The Millers, NCIS), Rebecca Pidgeon (Bird Box, Allegiant), Bill Bodner (Killer Psyche, Killer Psyche Daily) , and Trisha Paytas (Blood Queens, The Doctors).
