The HBO and Sky network co-production Landscapers has released new casting information that includes David Thewlis (Fargo, Big Mouth) joining the limited series, according to Deadline. This new acting addition joins Olivia Colman (Broadchurch, The Crown) on the upcoming limited series. The British-American limited series is created by Ed Sinclair (Screenshot), who has been married to Colman since 2001 and will be a fictionalization of a real-life event. Landscapers will receive directing credits from Will Sharpe (Flowers, Sherlock) and under the production companies of River Pictures and Sister.
Landscapers will center on a married couple of Colman and Thewlis’ characters who embark on a murderous plot against a pair of their in-laws. Colman will star as Susan Edwards alongside Thewlis as the husband Christopher Edwards that live in Nottingham, England. In addition to this pair, the cast includes the likes of Dipo Ola (We Hunt Together, Baghdad Central), Karl Johnson (Hot Fuzz), Daniel Rigby (Black Mirror, Flowers), Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who), Kate O’Flynn (Bridget Jones’s Baby), and Felicity Montagu (Nighty Night). At the moment, these additional cast members’ roles are not available to the public.
Currently, it is unknown when this series will begin production and air on HBO and Sky.
