‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season Two Heating Up With Shorter Wait

The official animated series Hazbin Hotel made its debut back in January 18, and the pilot,, which originally was released five years ago, received over 97 million views. The series synopsis follows the perspective of Charlie, voiced by Erika Henningsen(Girls5eva), as she tries to complete her quest to redeem a soul from hell through her hotel. According to an interview via Screenrant, the series’ show-runner, Vivienne Medrano(Helluva Boss) has given an updated that fans will not have to wait long for the second season.

According to Screenrant, when asked if fans have to wait long for a second season, Medrano stated,”Definitely not as long. I’m a big advocate for letting things take the time they need. And production, I mean, I literally actually don’t know the projected release date or aim or anything like that, but roughly season one took about one-and-a-half, two years”.  She added “So I think it’s probably similar, just because we are in the early stages. However, that’s not nearly as long of a wait, and that’s kind of a normal wait for animation. So it’ll be a normal wait for animation. But I do think it’ll be worth it”.

The second season is sure to solve all the unanswered questions such as why Lilith was hiding in heaven, why Alastor was on a leash, and many more. According to Screenrant, since the conflict of the main characters have been laid down, season two can focus on the in depth story of them.

Ultimately, while details remain under wraps, one thing’s for sure: the wait for Season Two is already generating heat. Besides new characters, the upcoming season will also introduce a whole new palette of songs. While waiting for the second season, the entirety of season one of Hazbin Hotel is available to stream on Prime Video.
