Hazbin Hotel: Live On Broadway will be making its way from the stage to your television screen on November 17th. Prime Video announced the special will be released on its streaming platform.
The concert event took place at New York’s Majestic Theatre and was hosted by series lead Erika Henningsen (The Four Seasons, Harlem). Songs from both season one, performed by Henningsen, Blake Roman (Blue Bloods, A Night At The Park), Amir Talai (The Circle, Family Guy), Christian Borle (The Bounty Hunter, Peter Pan Live!), Jessica Vosk (East New York, Company), Jeremy Jordan (The Last Five Years, The Flash), and Krystina Alabado (First Reformed, Better Nate Than Ever), are featured on the special. The last two episodes of season two of Hazbin Hotel premieres on November 19th on Prime Video and is produced by A24, FOX Entertainment Studios, and Bento Box Entertainment.
Also released on November 19th, the Hazbin Hotel: Season Two (Original Soundtrack) will be available for purchase. The songs made available to the public before the official release have garnered over 70 million streams globally.
The soundtrack features songs written and produced by Sam Haft (Inside Llewyn Davis, Helluva Boss) and Andrew Underberg (Mr. Right, The J Team) and performed by the cast of the hit series including Henningsen, Talai, Alabado, Roman, Jordan, Vosk, Borle, Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, In The Heights), Keith David (The Thing, The Princess And The Frog), Kimiko Glenn (Nerve, Orange Is The New Black), Alex Brightman (The Union, Documentary Now), Joel Perez (The Outs, Person Of Interest), Lilli Cooper (Dynasty, The Good Fight), Patrick Stump (Big Hero 6, The Lego Batman Movie), Darren Criss (Glee, American Crime Story), Shoba Narayan (Mistress America, Growing Up Smith), Patina Miller (The Many Saints Of Newark, The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay – Part 1), Liz Callaway (New In Town, The Swan Princess), Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Vinyl, New Amsterdam), James Monroe Iglehart (Disenchanted, Wish), Andrew Durand (Servant, Here Today), Kevin Del Aguila (Strange World, Peg+Cat), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Wild Things, In The Heights), and Alex Newell (Glee, Geography Club).
The song “Gravity” was performed at New York Comic Con by Vosk and Brightman and is being called the hit of the entire season. Gravity has amassed 30 million streams independently.
Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, a princess of Hell, who opens a hotel with the hopes of solving her kingdom’s issues via rehabilitation. She must battle heaven’s angels, who seek to solve hell with different methods.
