Hawkeye had already been scheduled for a release sometime this fall, but no official date has been determined as of yet. During the pandemic, delays in shows have become the norm, so fans can sleep easy knowing that the show looks to be right on track.
Followers of Hawkeye have not seen the superhero since his appearance in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, so the wait for Jeremy Renner’s (The Bourne Legacy) return to screen is increasing by the day. Via ScreenRant, Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) is slated to debut as another important character in Hawkeye’s life, Kate Bishop. The show will revolve around Hawkeye training Bishop to take his place in the Avengers.
Jonathan Igla (Madman) is set to be a show runner, executive producer, and head writer for Disney Plus, whose expanse of Marvel streaming options increases by the month. It is set to be the fourth show from the comic book giant to be released on the streaming service.
Hawkeye still has no official release date, but it is approaching quickly. In the meantime, Marvel fans will have much to binge on as Loki hits Disney Plus in a matter of weeks.
