Harriet Sansom Harris Returns to ‘Frasier’ Season Two

According to TVLine, Harriet Sansom Harris (American Horror Story, Desperate Housewives) is confirmed to be reprising her role as the shameless agent, Bebe Glazer in season 2 of Paramount+’s revival of Frasier. Other casting announcements have similarly been revealed.

The beloved sitcom, which won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for five consecutive years was renewed by Paramount+ in a revival and sequel series of the same name. The original series, which was a spin-off of the iconic Boston based sitcom Cheers, aired from 1993 to 2004, boasting 11 seasons and over a decade on the air. Paramount+ renewed the series almost twenty years later in 2023. This new series, Frasier, follows the iconic titular psychiatrist and radio show host, Dr. Frasier Crane, portrayed by Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier), who originated the role on both Cheers and Frasier, as he returns to Boston decades later to rekindle the relationship with his son.

As reported by TVLine, Grammer will not be the only original cast member from Frasier returning to the revival series, as Harriet Sansom Harris is slated to reappear as his unscrupulous agent, Bebe Glazer. The Tony-award winning actress is also known for her roles in Desperate Housewives and American Horror Story, where she appeared in the eighth season of the anthology series, entitled Apocalypse. Other Frasier alum are similarly slated to return, including Peri Gilpen (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Modern Family) as Roz Doyle, the producer of Frasier’s radio show, Dan Butler (Hey Arnold!, Enemy of the State) as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, the macho host of the Gonzo Sports Show and Edward Hibbert (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, 2 Broke Girls) as Gil Chesterton, the host of Restaurant Beat on KACL. The Frasier vets are joined by a few newcomers as well, with Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex Girlfriend, The School for Good and Evil) set to play Bebe Glazer’s daughter Phoebe, and Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond, Room for Two) as Holly, a bartender and potential new love interest for Frasier after the end of his twenty year relationship with Charlotte.

While the release date of the revival series’ second season is yet to be announced, fans can binge the first season on Paramount+ as well as all eleven seasons of the original series.
