

According to Deadline, composer Hans Zimmer (The Prince Of Egypt, The DaVinci Code) will be joining Labrinth (Euphoria, Malcolm & Marie) to compose the score for the third season of HBO’s Euphoria. The composer’s music has earned him two academy awards, three golden globes, and five Grammys.
Zimmer has composed music for a number of different films and series, many of which have received popularity and awards recognition, per IMDb. His credits include The Lion King, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Man Of Steel, Crimson Tide, Gladiator, and 12 Years A Slave.
The German composer and music director is featured prominently in the work of Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer, Tenet), such as Batman Begins, The Dark Night, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar, and Inception.
Recently, he worked as the composer for Denis Villeneuve’s (Enemy, Blade Runner 2049) Dune and Dune: Part 2. His work on both films won him four awards from Major associations. Zimmer joins Labrinth, an English singer and songwriter who scored the first two seasons of the show, work which earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards.
As Deadline reports, Zimmer said, “It’s an honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson. Together, they have crafted such a bold and moving series that has meant so much to audiences. Labrinth’s music has shaped the show’s identity and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”
Euphoria is written and created by showrunner Sam Levinson (The Idol, Malcolm & Marie), as listed on IMDb. The series is based on the 2012 Israeli series of the same name. It stars Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Challengers) as Rue Bennett, Hunter Schafer (Cuckoo, Kinds Of Kindness) as Jules Vaughn, Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth, Saltburn) as Nate Jacobs, Made Apatow (This Is 40, Funny People) as Lexi Howard, and Sydney Sweeney (The White Lotus, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Cassie Howard.
