The Season 2 of Hannibal finds Dr. Lecter on the outside of the prison bars.
The first season ended with Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) being taken into custody for murder. This season, Graham wants to prove that Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) did it, but he will need some outside help as noted by The Wrap.
The trailer shows antlers, lots of dead bodies, human body parts being prepared for dinner. NBC debuted the trailer at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour Sunday.
Bryan Fuller, the show’s creator said that the premiere will continue the story of season 1 describing it as “kind of charted where everyone was psychologically from the first season.” He continued by mentioning “We have some long arcs for the show… Things get really bad for lots of characters,” as reported by IGN.
The second season of Hannibal premiers on February 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
