Graves has been canceled after two seasons at Epix. The series starred Nick Nolte who portrayed former United States President Richard Graves.
The half-hour comedy series also starred Chris Lowell, Heléne Yorke, Sela Ward, and Skylar Astin. Adam Goldberg, Spencer Grammer, Wallace Shawn, Sarah Baker, Lauren Weedman, Matt Long, and Juliette Lewis were also added to Season 2 with Jacqueline Bisset as a guest star.
Joshua Michael Stern created and executive produced the series. Stern executive produced alongside Greg Shapiro, Keith Eisner, and Eric Weinberg. Lionsgate Television produced the series.
Graves followed former two-term Republican President Richard Graves as he embarks on a quest to right the wrongs of his administration and reclaim his legacy 25 years after leaving the White House. His enlightenment occurs as his wife Margaret (Ward) decides to pursue her political ambitions.
The series was one of the first originals that went into production along with the drama series Berlin Station. Epix entered the series arena with series orders to its three co-owners, Berlin Station at Paramount, Graves at Lionsgate, and Get Shorty at MGM. Both shows were launched in 2016. Berlin Station was recently renewed for a third season. Get Shorty premiered this year in August.
