Well, not a wall, but a pillar.
“Holy Concrete Batman!”
Ben McKenzie, who plays Gotham’s main character James Gordon, was injured on set after hitting a pillar during an action scene on Saturday.
McKenzie posted pictures of the accident on his Instagram on Saturday along with that all too appropriate tag line. What can we expect from the gritty crime series airing for first time on September 22nd? Certainly that no one is safe from the action, not even the show’s main actor.
Gotham is a prequel series to the Batman world. James Gordon, played by Gary Oldman in the Christopher Nolan trilogy and by Ben McKenzie in Gotham, is the voice of law enforcement in an otherwise lawless city. Remember that Batman, no matter how effective a crime fighter, is still a vigilante. The series promises a fresh look into the Batman universe and joins Arrow, The Flash, and Constantine as one of the DC’s / Warner Brother’s vanguards into prime time.
