As Game of Thrones closes in on the end of its fourth season, it surpassed The Sopranos to become HBO’s most popular TV series of all time.
The fantasy drama upped its viewership this season to 18.4 million per episode, 200,000 more viewers than the best season of David Chase’s The Sopranos averaged. Game of Thrones has added four million viewers per episode since its third season, and could increase even more before the season finale on June 15th.
