Deadline reported that the Mexican actor just nabbed a role in Amazon’s new comedy pilot.
Mozart In The Jungle, Amazon’s most recent comedy series, is based on Blair Tindal’s memoir and is about sex, drugs and classical music, depicting what happens backstage at the symphony.
Bernal will play Gustavo, a conductor who is described as an enfant terrible; someone very devoted to his art and his image.
The pilot was penned by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Alex Timbers.
Recently, Amazon has been betting on original shows and announced yesterday the premiere dates of two new series, Alpha House and Betas.
