According to Deadline, the FX original series What We Do In The Shadows has officially set a premiere date for its sixth and final season. The Emmy-nominated comedy series will be back for viewers to enjoy in the fall. The first three episodes of the sixth and final season will premiere on FX at 10 p.m. Monday, October 21, and stream the next day on Hulu. The series will have eleven episodes and continue where the last season left off.
As per Deadline, the series will kick off its Farewell Tour on Thursday during the San Diego Comic-Con with a panel discussion. The panel will consist of series stars, which include Matt Berry (Disenchantment, Curb Your Enthusiasm), who plays Laszlo Cravensworth, Kayvan Novak (Big Mouth, Inside Job), who plays Nandor, Mark Proksch (Better Call Saul, The Office), who plays Colin Robinson and Kristen Schaal (Gravity Falls, The Last Man on Earth) who plays The Guide They will be accompanied by executive producer and writer Paul Simms (The Larry Sanders Show, Flight of the Conchords) and EP/Director Kyle Newacheck (Stranger in the Woods, Game Over, Man!). The panel will run from 3:30-4:30 p.m. PT in Hall H and include a sneak peek at the new season for fans who attend the panel.
What We Do In The Shadows is a mockumentary that follows the lives and misadventures of vampire roommates and their families.The roommates include Nandor, Laszlo, Colin Robinson and Nadja, played by Natasia Demetriou (Stath Lets Flat, Pls Like), and the familiar Guillermo, played by Harvey Guillen (Blue Beetle, The Garfield Movie). They live in the modern world of Staten Island as they try to navigate it as vampires.
*Spoilers Ahead* The upcoming season will find the vampires entering the workforce, visiting New Hampshire, going to human dinner party, fête The Baron and conjuring a demon.
The series earned eight Primetime Emmy nominations for its fifth season, including Outstanding Comedy Series.All current seasons of What We Do In The Shadows are available to stream on Hulu.
